I got an email saying that a book I have checked out has been recalled; What does that mean?

It means that another user needs the book you have, and you must return the book within 14 days of the date on the recall notice. (Your notice should include your new due date.) Fines for late return in recall cases are $5/day. See the Recalls page for more information.
