What are scholarly/peer reviewed articles and how do I find them?

From Guides

A scholarly/peer reviewed article is written by experts in the field, reviewed by other experts before publication, and includes references. Many databases contain only scholarly articles, and other databases allow you to select only scholarly articles among your results. Look at the Image:Istatement.png next to the names of the databases in the ALADIN Database list to figure out which databases include scholarly articles.
