Description: Like Thurston, Onassis, Munson and Lafayette Halls, Schenley is another example of the University converting a historic apartment building into a dormitory. It is eight stories tall with a brick and stone edifice. Two three-side bays project out from the façade. Stone veneer encases the first floors, with a wide friend at the top. A stone belt course runs over the sixth floor. A stone shield, ornamental swags and large fanlight grace the front entrance. Before acquisition by GW, this was the Schenley Apartments.
