Description: Smith Hall is faced with tan brick. Details include a metal balustrade along its multilevel roof and concrete piers supporting the roof over covered balconies. Smith Hall was ready for occupancy in January 1982. It was named for Robert H. Smith, member of GW Board of Trustees, and his wife Clarice on October 20, 1983. (Robert Smith is the son of Charles E. Smith, for whom the Smith Center is named). Smith Hall is part of the Academic Center.
