Women’s Softball
Kim Staehle is in her second season as the head softball coach at The George Washington University. Staehle came to GW from Georgetown University where she served as an assistant coach in the 2006 season, the first year of varsity softball at the school.
In her first season with the Colonials, Staehle led GW to its first-ever Atlantic 10 Tournament appearance. GW hit a single-season record 38 home runs, and finished the regular season with the league lead in fielding percentage with Staehle at the helm.
GW softball had its inaugural season in 2002-2003.
