Article

The Vice President for Development and University Relations of The George Washington University reports to the President. Formerly known as the Vice President for Development, the title changed in 1992 to Vice President for Development and Alumni Affairs, and again in 2002 to Vice President for Advancement. Under the Vice President are the Associate Vice President for Advancement, Central University, the Associate Vice President for School Programs, and Associate Vice President for the Medical Center. These offices raise money for University operations and oversee fund raising campaigns and endowments to the University.
